Alan HamiltonManaging Director

Alan began his career hosting his a radio show for 2 years at North Staffordshire Hospital before becoming a runner and production assistant on various TV shows such as Granada Reports (ITV1), Brookside (C4), Nice Guy Eddie (BBC1) and The Real John Lennon (C4). Prior to this he completed a Media Production degree at Staffordshire University.

His was independently commissioned to produce 3 x 3’ films for The History Channel series ‘A Small Piece Of History’ telling the stories of US heavyweight contender Earnie Shavers, Apollo 7 astronaut Walt Cunningham and Millvina Dean, last survivor of Titanic. Each programme contained exclusively shot intimate interviews with each person telling their story. in addition to archive footage (secured directly from owners including NASA and Pathe) His first acquisition success came when pantomime documentary film ‘Just For Kids?’, was acquired and subsequently re-acquired by Community Channel broadcast over 100 times over 5 years 2004-2008.

On other independent co-productions he has interviewed: Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Patrick Moore, Apollo 16 moonwalker Charlie Duke, Beagle 2 mars lander inventor Professor Colin Pillinger, John Lennon’s band The Quarrymen, Albert Einstein’s granddaughter Evelyn Einstein, Dr Gordon Mitchell (son of Spitfire designer Reg Mitchell) and Professor Stephen Hawking.

Alan was production manager at Avent Productions between 2005 and 2011 during which time he worked on broadcast series for Discovery Realtime and British Forces Broadcasting Services. He production managed and secured corporate commissions with clients including Jamie Carragher’s Cafe Sports England, British Lung Foundation and 6 short films for Tesco. Other clients Alan produced for on independent projects include a US pop singer and Newcastle City Council.

Alan is also respected in the entertainment business as manager and publicist to TV personality Craig Phillips for a highly successful 6 year period. Highlights in this time included; securing the then Prime Minister’s wife Cherie Blair to officially open Craig’s building school, securing successful endorsements with major DIY brands, key contributions to the writing of chapters and conceiving the title for Craig’s 2009 autobiography.

In 2010 Alan had his first series format commissioned by UKTV Home, ‘Celebrity DIY with Craig Phillips’ a 10 x 30′ series produced by Diesel Films in association with Craig Phillips. Alan was associate producer on the series which saw a second 5 x 30’ series run commissioned in 2011. The series combined DIY with biography with intimate access to the households and lives of stars; Frankie Dettori MBE, Samantha Fox, Russell Grant, Dean Gaffney, Neil & Christine Hamilton, Vic Reeves & Nancy Sorrell, Chesney Hawkes & dad Chip Hawkes of The Tremeloes, Rowland Rivron, Uri Geller, Cheryl Baker, Dane Bowers, Helen Lederer, Lembit Opek, Deena Payne & Linda Robson.

In 2012 Alan formed Hamilton Management which has gone on to become the most successful actors agency in Liverpool managing a range of celebrity lead actors and established talented jobbing actors and exciting newcomers. The rosta includes actors of various ethnicities and some UK based international actors. Clients have featured in a range of shows in quality roles. TV shows  clients have featured in to date notably inc Peaky Blinders, The Crown, Tin Star, White Gold, Eastenders, Emmerdale, Funny Girl, Anne, Anthony, The Window for ZDF/ Fuji TV , Emerald City for NBC and Pennyworth for HBO amongst others. Feature films clients have acted inc Midas Man, The Queen Mary and Munich the edge of war. Music video lead roles inc chart hits for Calvin Harris ft Rag N Bone Man, Louis Tomlinson and Duran Duran. We have a great blend of actors that can add USP to projects as narrators, presenters, acting in drama reconstructions etc

Alan also formed a small select sports and entertainment management company with celeb clients having appeared in top projects inc Celebrity Masterchef, The Real Marigold Hotel and many more. Again as a consequence clients we can offer some presenters and personalities for broadcast projects via Moon Road whom we help maintain a strong public profile.

In 2021 Alan secured Moon Road’s first major radio commission from the BBC World Service and also securing an exclusive interview with Falklands war veteran Simon Weston CBE in the process. The programme received high praise from industry peers and was directed by Alan.

Anthony Castellane – U.S Consultant

Anthony is a respected consultant for television and film producers all over the world. His projects include writing and consulting work for Hawaii Five O and assistant producing on the feature film Daredevil starring Ben Affleck. He lives in Los Angeles.

Scott is a highly experienced professional actor, narrator and presenter. Nominated for a National Television Award for his role as Sam Kingston in Coronation Street. He has presented TV shows for Sky and ITV, together with narrating Moon Road projects for the BBC World Service.

Andy BennettDirector / Cameraman

Andy is an experienced director and cameraman. He has worked many times with our M.D Alan Hamilton. TV directing credits inc  a 10 x 60’ series for Discovery and a 6 x 30’ series for Forces TV. He has been a lighting cameraman for nearly 30 years working on a wide range of BBC and ITV shows inc many long running strands. He brings a range of directing, camera and production skills.
